StarLight–Sab Series

The StarLight-Sab series is an ultra-precision micro-nano machining system. It can be optionally equipped with different models of ultrafast lasers, micro-nano precision electric displacement stages, and various types of laser focusing heads. The system adopts a granite base and gantry frame, featuring a compact structure, as well as industrial-grade high stability and reliability. It incorporates a closed optical path transmission, adjustment, and imaging system, including beam shaping, power monitoring, coaxial illumination, and vision modules.

The StarLight-Sab series is a compact desktop laser processing system. the StarLight-Sab series can provide optimal solutions and applications. Examples include: femtosecond laser precision etching, micro-nano structure fabrication, photonic device direct writing, surface functionalization modification, extreme nanofabrication, touch screen and ITO cutting, hole making and cutting of materials such as metal ceramics, and processing micro-nano waveguide structures on and inside silicon substrates to enable cutting-edge basic technology research for new optoelectronic devices.

  • The CNC system supports 3-axis PS0 laser processing control mode.
  • The CNC system supports interpolation modes including linear, circular arc and helix interpolation.
  • The CNC system supports G-code programming, and allows direct import of graphic files in DXF, DWG and other formats for galvanometer scanning processing.
  • The system is equipped with a laser power monitoring and control module, which can adjust the laser processing power online as required.
  • The system is equipped with a coaxial vision monitoring system for auxiliary workpiece positioning, and can monitor the processing process and quality in real time.
  • According to customer requirements, the system can be equipped with tooling fixtures such as vacuum chucks, optical fiber fixtures and waveguide engraving fixtures, as well as vacuum pumps and processing dust collection devices.
  • High-precision scribing and cutting:StarLight‑Sab series can output femtosecond pulsed lasers with high peak power. By using focusing objectives with appropriate numerical aperture, it can achieve high‑efficiency and ultra‑fine scribing and cutting of materials such as mobile phone screen glass cover and ITO conductive film, making it particularly suitable for industrial users.
  • Fabrication of 2D and 3D surface microstructures:The StarLight-Sab series can be used not only to fabricate 2D structures on material surfaces, but also to produce 3D structures, with achievable microstructure sizes reaching the nanometer scale.
  • Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) inscription:The StarLight-Sab series can be used for waveguide fabrication and fiber Bragg grating inscription, and is capable of inscribing Bragg gratings with a contrast ratio of up to 50 dB.
  • Micrometer drilling:The StarLight-Sab series is capable of nanometer-scale drilling.
